The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change thanks retiring long-time employees


The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change bade farewell to
three of their long-serving employees yesterday on Wednesday 30th March in a small gathering at the Department of Environment, Botanical Gardens. Davidson Jacques, Herline Bathilde and Franky Ally have been working with the Ministry for more than 15 years. 

Davidson Jacques joined the Ministry on 1st October 1998 as a Field Worker and was promoted to Conservation Ranger in 2009. While Franky Ally first started as an Assistant Met Observer with the Directorate of Civil Aviation in November 1983. In 1998 the NMS unit was transferred to the Ministry.  Mr. Ally retired from the post of Meteorological Technician.

Mrs. Balthilde started her career as a Clerk Typist with the Public Works Department in 1971.  She was transferred to four different public Sectors before being transferred to the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change in April 2000 occupying the post of Director Administration and Human Resources. Mrs. Herline Bathilde has been a public servant for 44 years.

In the farewell ceremony the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Didier Dogley presented a small token to each of the retirees on behalf of the Ministry. Thanking them for their devout work towards the Ministry and also for the government of Seychelles. We wish them all the best for their future endeavors.
